McKenzie Method

Mechanical diagnosing of the spine through a system of evaluation and subsequent treatment of spinal disorders was developed by New Zealand physiotherapist Robin McKenzie. The McKenzie method is an active treatment philosophy that emphasizes teaching clients how to manage and treat spinal pain themselves and how to prevent the pain from reoccurring. This very effective technique is offered by physiotherapists who have post-graduate training in the McKenzie method.  This approach has demonstrated high efficacy in back-pain-related disc injuries.
